YG Entertainment to remove Nurse Jennie's Outfit Scenes from MV

They will shoot all the nurse scenes. With BLACKPINK officially returning with their new music video titled "Lovesick Girls", they have been criticized for wearing the Nurse Jennie uniform in the video.

The Health and Medical Association of Korea considers the clothes Jenny wears only to "imitate the usual motifs used for sexual appeal."

They feel that even though they are trying to reform this the issue, EGS Productions is only exacerbating the situation by opposing the nurses in the music video.

On the other hand, BLINKS did not think that this was a problem and began to defend Jennie through social media. YG also released a statement emphasizing that they had “no intention of sexualization in the outfit.”

Finally, on October 7, Yuji issued an official statement stating that they will delete all scenes showing the nurse's uniform, we will delete all scenes and replace the MV as soon as possible.

Below is the full official statement:

We have decided to delete all scenes that show the nurse uniform in the music video and will be replacing the music video with the edited version ASAP.

We spent a long time preparing for this music video and we didn’t expect a controversy such as this to happen as we did not have any specific intentions. We feel a heavy sense of responsibility about this issue and we apologize to all the nurses that felt uncomfortable because of this.
